Positive: Good size pods. We had one with a kitchenette, toilet & shower. Nice and quiet location. Host very welcoming. Enjoyed that there was a built in Bluetooth speaker in the pods. Was great to be able to wash & dry clothes on site (in communal area).
Negative: Shower wasn’t working in our pod (told on arrival there was an issue with the electrics). That didn’t matter as there were communal showers on site. Note the light in the communal showers is a motion detector light so when you are showering sometimes you’re not picked up by it and the light goes off. Happened a good few times while I showered, might be best for the owners to change the light to a manual on/off switch. There are no sockets to plug in a hairdryer in the communal showers. Water did not run clean in the pods, you need to fill up water bottles from the communal area and bring back to your pod. No tv or WiFi in pods. Kitchenettes need more facilities (e.g. toaster, mini fridge) they only have tea/coffee making facilities. There is only one mirror (located in the bathroom) and it is very low down. More lighting at night on site as it is very dark. Pod did suffer slightly with condensation but the pods are lovely and modern. We enjoyed our stay overall. Thank you.

Negative: No shower, toilet or running water in pod had to go to a shared building for that which is never mentioned in the advertising for the place.

Positive: The room/ airplane was lovely. The staff were great and very welcoming. It’s in a lovely location. The shared facilities were very generous. I can’t recommend this highly enough.
Negative: The web site might be a bit clearer about what you are booking: I think I chose a (fabulous and very comfortable) double bed over a bathroom… but I didn’t know that until arrival.
Summary: It was a wonderful 24 hours, snagged out of a busy world, that felt restorative.

Negative: It's early days so we'll give them a little time to find their feet. The showers were good but the gravel from the path can find it's way into the shower block.

Positive: Loved our few days at Canal Stay Glamping. Rayne & family were wonderful, warm & welcoming hosts. The place was clean & well equipped. Fantastic location surrounded by such beautiful countryside & along the stunning 200 year old Canal with new 165km cycle path. We cycled some of the gorgeous Royal Canal Greenway with lots of wildlife to enjoy and plenty of picnic areas to stop for lunch. We were very grateful for the huge and comfortable bed each night in our Aeroplane pod. Lovely pint of Guinness and food in the friendly pub too, sat outside relaxing with sun shining & beautiful harbour views. Amazing all round. Looking forward to going back again to cycle the next stage of the Greenway & maybe a canoe trip in the future, too, that we noticed other campers enjoying 😊
